Contribute to my next e-book!

One of the best e-discussions I've taken part in recently was one that revolved around the question, "What are the greatest mistakes a leader can make?" The responses were thought-provoking—in fact, they got me thinking a bit more about what we do as communicators…

As a result, I decided to start my own LinkedIn discussion about the pitfalls we’re subject to in internal communications. I asked my contacts to weigh in and in the last couple of weeks I’ve received close to a hundred responses. Suffice it to say, this is a hot topic—one that’s very much on people’s minds. So, I’ve decided to make it the basis of my next e-book, the content of which I’m hoping to make almost completely crowd-sourced. Of course, to do that, I’ll need your help.

I’m looking for your answers to the following question:

What is/are the greatest mistake(s) an internal communications professional can make?

Please feel free to leave your answers below in the comments, or email them to me directly. Please just make sure to leave your name, title and company as you would like it to appear in the e-book if I use your response. And if you’d like to remain anonymous, that’s also fine—please just let me know.

I look forward to hearing your contributions to the discussion!
